“Building Positive Rural Communities” Project

Published: Aug 16

Invitation to Best Practice Visits & Training Workshops

Dear Community Representative

FRCN invite you and members of your community to take part in the Best Practice Visits and Training Workshops that are scheduled to take place during August, September and October. These activities are part of the ‘Building Positive Rural Communities’ Project that Fermanagh Rural Community Network (FRCN) has been operating through funding from Fermanagh and Omagh PEACE IV Partnership.

The Schedule of activities is listed below include visits to a range of locations, at which you will have direct contact with projects that are making a positive benefit to the health & wellbeing of their local communities and gain knowledge and understanding of our regions culture and traditions.

A central condition of the funding for this project is that each participant has to have 26 hours meaningful, purposeful and sustained contact between persons from different communities over the lifetime of the project; therefore for the project to proceed FRCN require that participants commit to attending these activities so that they can take place – if we have no participants signed up the proposed activities will not take place.

If you require any further information or clarification please do not hesitate to contact Frances or Barry at Fermanagh Rural Community Network on tel. no. 028 6632 7006 or by email: info@fermanaghrcn.org

Looking forward to continuing to support you and members of your organisation through the ‘Building Positive Rural Communities’ Project.
